Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
I will also ad that up until this moment I HAVE NOT heard anything from the TV station I sent the information to. Am I to assume they did not get my email, or that they have no interest, or what? Seems that a courtesy email saying they received my message would be in order at the very least.

Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
Hello all.
Thanks for the tip Admin on switching my website Stand 'n Seal Exposure site name of page1 to Stand 'n Seal Exposure site. I finally got it done. I have been off work sice Tuesday (medical reasons) and will be for months. I took the first few days just as Family time, which was overdue. Now I finally will have time to get my site up to speed. In fact I have made a few updates recently. Now you poor saps will have to put up with me more here, lol. Bye for now.
Best of luck and health...... Shawn M.

Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
Shawn, I want to put that into words instead of an image so that search engine spiders might pick it up.
Do not apply Zonyl® 8868 using aerosol application or by atomization. Inhalation of spray or mist may cause nasal, throat or lung irritation. Inhalation of large amounts of respirable particles may be toxic to the lungs. Symptoms may be modest initially, followed in hours by severe shortness of breath requiring prompt medical attention. See the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for additional product specific information.

Does anyone know if an online copy of the MSDS for Stand 'n Seal is available in any format?
Thanks for your dedication to this, Shawn.

I think blkjack also had saved a copy. I'm thinkin' all that information has been purged from the Internet but I wouldn't swear to it.
What is the source of the above quote?

Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
The above quote came directly from the image Shawn posted of a portion of the technical data sheet. Search engines can't read images, only words. If you want people to find information about this problem, it has to come from words, not pictures. Of course, the file name of the picture helps too because that is made up of words.
I wonder if there is a newer version of the MSDS that has changes?

Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
The MSDS sheet for Sn'S is the same old sheet. It is my understanding that Zonyl was the original chemical and was replaced by Flexipel (which is in the recall batches) and they switched back to Zonyl. Both of these chemicals are in the c8-c9 petroleum Hydrocarbon class, which makes up 80% of Sn'S. Roanoke would like us to believe that Zonyl is perfectly safe in Sn'S. If you look at my post ealier about the information on the Zonyl Technical Data sheet, you will clearly see this stuff is dangerous and even warns Do not apply Zonyl® 8868 using aerosol application or by atomization.
I am waiting on MSDS sheets for both Zonyl and Flexipel. I would also like to mention that most tests done on c8-c9 Petrolium Hydrocarbons were done on individual chemicals. Few tests have been done on c8-c9 compounds, which opens up a whole new group of problems.

Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
Hi Bill,
Yes I'm up and kicking. I plan on being the squeekiest wheel, and the biggest thorn in their side. I have plenty of time to do it too now since I am home for medical reasons. Now I can make updates to my website Stand 'n Seal Exposure site instead of just planning to make updates!!! Just way too many things happening on the homefront (Thanks to Sn'S) prior to this.
I have been considering, trying to arrange a protest against Home Depot Nation wide too. I thought I'd put a page up on my site to get feedback from others. Imagine a protests from 200 victums all on the same day at/near 200 stores across the country. I think that would help get the message out, so others aren't harmed by this horrible poison. It would also warn others about Home Depot, so they realize how little they truely care about us. Instead of their hogwash such as this Mission/Vision statement on their site. Welcome to The Home Depot, Inc. Corporate Web Site
How about their values statement especially value #3 Welcome to The Home Depot, Inc. Corporate Web Site
How about their corporate responsibility Welcome to The Home Depot, Inc. Corporate Web Site
I'm sure they will kill these links soon, but that will be ok, as I do have copies of everything. You don't think I'd post this info withought a backup first do you, hee hee. What are they gonna do? sue me and take my house? too late I allready lost it thanks to them and Sn'S.
The trenches are dug and it is time to fight back! Shawn

Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
I'm sorry to hear that about your home, Shawn. I'd really hoped there would've been some way for you and your lawyer to come up with and save it.

Re: Stand and Seal Health Problems
Here is the link to the MSDS sheet directly on Sn'S website http://standandseal.com/media/Stand_...ealer_MSDS.pdf It is the same old MSDS sheet! That suggests to me that they haven't changed the formula other than the recalled batches with Flexipel in it. So now we are nearly 1 1/2 years later. Home Depot is still selling this poison, and they have the gall to talk about corporate responsibility.
