FS:Crain #975 Power Groover

I have this Crain Power Groover that I just don't use.
I bought it for an Altro Job because they make the diamond grooving bit and didn't feel like buying 500 replacement blades....LOL
Comes with case and a little Marmoleum dust on it...
First $100 takes it....
Sells for $325

I tried to give one of these away a year or so ago. No takers.

I like that and have never seen one of those before.
How well does it work on altro and are the blades easy to get hold of or hard and would it work in the uk on our voltage.

I would assume you would need a step up transformer. I don't know how the motor would handle the voltage.
The bits are easy to get and they make the diamond bits for Altro.

Steve,

Our mains supply for domestic and commercial buildings in use is 240v, I'm guessing that would most likely blow it up.
However onsite and inside buildings that are having works done whilst being occupied we have to use 110v step down transformer.
So my question is would it and can it run on 110v.

Cheers

Jeremy

Cool cheers Barry, I thought so but just want to be sure.

So next question for Steve can you find out how much it will be for you to ship it to the UK and ask about including landing tax or duty for entry to the UK, cause I'm gettin sick of customs callin me to say we have a package for you but you have to pay the tax just for us to release it damn the tax man.
I'd rather pay it all up front so it goes door to door without the intervention of Her Majestys Revenue Collection calling me for more money I give them enough of my flesh every month.
