Want to buy Carpet Beveler

I am in the market for a carpet beveler, I'm just starting to get into binding so I would like to find a used one that isn't too expensive.

Re: Want to buy Carpet Beveler

Have you tried ebay? Also for someone starting out an electric sheep shearer works reasonably well and no where near as expensive. I have both and use the shear for small jobs.
I just looked for a beveler on ebay and there was none but there are a lot of shears.
Try here: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=+sh...arer&_osacat=0

Re: Want to buy Carpet Beveler

I have a beveler that I would sell to you e-mail me and we will talk... I also have a set of N-C Air shears... that I would sell,( I have several HA! I am still cleaning out the building... jeez) we use the shears to bevel, it is Fast and you can adjust the angle that you want to shear, ( different angles for different thicknesses) If you are going to get into beveled bordered rugs a beveler is the fastest, and the most consistiant..

Chris, Be careful what you pitch out. Some of us might be collecting old tools and such. If in doubt post a pic.

Rob
not a problem, I have a new policy, If I have not used it in the last year, it is going... I am tired of the clutter... and yes I have thought that I might be "sorry" but I am more sorry for a building that is so full of Stuff... and I am heading in a different direction...
BTW you want an old Singer Carpet serger, that works like a Charm, but there are no parts left in this world ( that I know of) to fix it if it breaks. ( took 50 plus years for it to break the last time... HA!)s it is free to the person that comes to the shop and picks it up... it was given to me by someone and I am going to give it to someone that whats to get in the serging business... I am still keeping my old union special...

Chris, You ought to put that one on ebay. Some poor sole is probably looking for parts for his and would give his right arm for it. Maybe his left to
