"Provinol seam trimmer," in the Buy & Sell Flooring Tools and Equipment forum, begins: "Anyone have one of these they might not be using and want to get rid of?
Provinol - start page..."
I had one but let an installer use it to try it out, never got it back. I played with it on some vinyl samples and it worked good. This was at l;east 5 years ago when the company was just bringing them out. I smoosed a guy out of it in Vegas. German made I believe, Takes a round blade. If I come up with it Barry its yours.
The Provinol is one way to modify the end of a piece of konecto to change directions. Works well becouse you can set the width and depth of the cut.
Set the blade to 1 inch from the guide and the depth of the Konecto back.
Cut off the Konecto with a VCT cutter, heat the back of the Konecto with a heat gun, push the Provinol cutter through the Konecto, heat and peal of the backing, use Konecto adhesive to bond pieces together.
