OK Then, what is a wool sisal?

Speaking of confusing carpet terms, the one that gets tossed around a fair amount and has always left me scratching my head is the term 'wool sisal'. I mean, I know what wool is and I know what sisal is, but the two together, isn't this more like 'day night' or 'dog cat'?

So I ask, what is a wool sisal?

Respectfully,

Dobby

BTW: There are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers to this question. Just curious as to what the term means to you or how one might explain it to another and, as always, all input and comments are welcome

Dobby, I understood this to be a wool yarn bundle woven into a sisal mat style product. There is no sisal only a style of weave. Sort of a girl scout place mat weave.

I have done wool sisal blends. Terminology is anything that looks like a sisal is a sisal look. There are many people that mistake sisal for sea grass. 2 totaly different animals. The carpet business is full of confusion. I have installed wool berbers from belguim.
