just moving into a new almost new house and the carpet is rinkled in some places why is it like that and can my husband and me fix this without any special tools.

the carpet is in good shape seems like except for the rinkles hear and there.

It is like that because, either the installers didn't know how to run a stretcher and stretched one direction more then the other. Or they run around with a knee kicker, which isn't a stretcher, and cheated the previous homeowner out of a professional installation.

Or the carpet has been cleaned by someone that didn't know what they were doing, and soaked the carpet, with foot traffic before the carpet dried out, compounding the problem.
