What is best grout sealer for porcelain tile?

Okay now, I don't want to start a war here. I've searched this forum and John Bridge and found very little on grout sealers. I am tiling about 1200sf with 18x18 porcelain tile. I have two Labs that do a good job of bringing the back yard into the house. I want to do the best job possible on sealing the grout.

My tile guy wants to use Gundlach 602 spray-on sealer. I have read posts that say NO NO NO to spray on sealers. I have seen recommendations for Dry Treat and STT Sealer and good 'ole Aqua Mix Gold. Dry Treat website has NOTHING about how to apply to grout. I can't even find the STT website. I will probably be doing the seal job myself. Please give me your recommendation for best grout sealer and application method. I don't really want to use a itty bitty foam brush for 1200sf, so any suggestions for application tools is also appreciated.

Anyone have experience using the Grout Wand applicator?
Grout Wand

thanks!

TFP recommends ShagTools.com

Why not simply use a highly stain resistant grout like Laticrete Permacolor?

When I do seal, I use a sealer application bottle. I like SurfaceGard by Custom Building Products. The Aquamix Sealer's Chioce Gold is good too, but much more difficult to remove from the tile IMHO.

Another option would be an epoxy grout such as Laticrete Spectralock (no, I don't work for Laticrete, just love their products). Though the cost is significantly more, it never needs sealing.

QEP 4 oz. Wall Grout Sealer Bottle 19999-12 at The Home Depot

or do what Greg said and use a grout that doesn't require sealing.
