Since they designed the truss joists, they are the only ones who can tell you with certainty if it is rated for tile or stone.

Thats the way I do it... engineers love to talk and if you need more stiffening they can explain how.

Anyway I hope to get my 2nd layer of plywood down this weekend and get the tube surround ready to tile.
