Re: Do It Yourself Ceramic Floor Tile

Who here will go over vinyl with ceramic if the vinyl is holding tight? I always take it up,but other company's in my area tell people it is ok and then the people think i am trying to charge them more for no reason.

Re: Do It Yourself Ceramic Floor Tile

I've been busy, Bud, and haven't visited the old forum for eons. But now, things are a little slow for me. Worries me a bit. I don't know what's happened to business around here. Last year I had my best year ever. This year it's dead.

Re: Do It Yourself Ceramic Floor Tile

You cannot compete with the uneducated or with those who will cut corners/ cost (ie "hacks"). Either the customer trusts you or they don't.

While it "can" be done "should" it be done? In a word, NO.

Re: Do It Yourself Ceramic Floor Tile

Bud, Thank you for the link. I went back and read it and it is very good, thank you.
You are all right that you are going to go against companys that all the care is to get the job and have it last a year .
More time's then most the customer knows better then listen to them. More and more people are coming on the net and they already know the info they are just testing you.
