Traffic Master - Stainproof Grout
Typically a Do-It-Yourself Tile Installation Forum is to help Do-It-Yourselfers with their home improvement projects. We standby to answer questions and to offer help when we can. All of us professionals would be short-changing the DIY community if we also didn't report about products that are known to us to fail, or products that are not as represented by their labels, or products that cause harm to individuals such as the Stan 'N' Seal grout sealing product that has alegedly hospitalized so many adults and children.
Well here's a product that has caused many many many complaints all over the Internet DIY Forums, but rather than hear it from me, take a look at this link and hear it from an actual user of the product. THEN, at the end of this linked page also visit the other site-links listed there for additional horror stories about the Traffic Master - Stainproof Grout.

A sad situation, but she has turned it into a very entertaining read. Thanks for posting that Bud. I hope it helps to bring attention to this very real problem.

Yow some of those people had some familiar-sounding sad stories so I just thought I'd hang out shingle for a couple of these forums and see what developes.
It's too bad the problems that lady has experienced with her Traffic Master - Stainproof Grout, her writing technique however seems to lighten-up the problems, she's a riot.

Dear Bud, I just wanted to add a little something about Traffic Master Stainproof Grout. We just started tiling our bathroom with this product and went to get another tub of it. To our dismay Home Depot no longer carries it. So I googled the product trying to find some anywhere for us to use. But alas no luck. But I did discovery this site. I wish we would have found it before grouting the floor and starting on the shower walls. Now what do we do but remove said grout and start over. Oh by the way being an emotional type I let out a scream at Home Depot when I was told they no longer carried it. It was a very very small scream I swear. I think even though it was small I frightened the poor young man helping me. I really really am starting to hate my ex-beloved Home Depot. And I never want to do another do it yourself tile job.
