security camera

How cheap can a person set up a motion activated camera outdoors? Still, or video, it wouldn't matter.
Next door neighbor has been losing fuel from his log truck sometime in the wee hours of the morning.
I was thinking along the lines of small fish hooks strung between his house and the truck.......... suspended about knee high and tied to a string of a couple dozen empty cans or bells.................. Like in the movie Stalag 17. Unfortunately, we don't have any armed guard towers nearby.

Re: security camera

There are many game cames that take a picture by movement triggering.

Moultree has some real inexpensive 35mm, and a digital, for under $100.

There are video and internet accessable cameras, too. Although a little costly. They are Bear proof, so if hung right, you don't have to worry about them walking away.

A motion light could do wonders too if it was set in the right spot. Though...I do like the fish hook set up but use some 50 lb. line and tie it to an empty metal garbage can.

Cool stuff there Floorguy. I'm gonna pass that on to him. Maybe he and his employer could go halves on it.

........... and rig up a way to light off a few M-80s in the process via some kind of trip wire, then follow the trail of crapola exiting his pant leg right to this scumbags house. We feel he's someone relatively near by. This is a gravel dead end road.

Re: security camera

I always liked the one when a guy was siphoning out of what he thought was a fuel tank on an RV. The people called the cops and when they arrived, the guy was still there vomiting outside the RV. The people decided not to press charges after finding out that by mistake, he was actually siphoning out of the sewage tank and in the process had swallowed some. They figured he'd suffered enough.

Maybe they could set something up along those lines Low. How could sugar be worked into to the equation. Naaa, that's gettin mean.

Be very careful with booby traps. If the low life is injured he can sue you and is likely to prevail.

A friend will help you move............. a good friend will help you hide the body.

We're not making any booby traps, just funnin' with the 'what ifs'?
