Moving Custom Area Rug from House to House
Just read a great tip from Chris Flynn about moving an area rug from one location to another - put it on a large diameter cardboard tube to prevent wrinkles. Thanks, Chris. On the rugs that we made... I got so I would go the the lumber yard and get Concrete form tubes to roll rugs on for delivery so the center would not wrinkle when delivered... one side note, it seemed that the bigger the rug on a small tube the larger the wrinkles... aslo if you did not store the rug flat when rolled it would tend to stretch in the center on an angle and the same thing would happen only on a Bias big Pain-in-the-A$$,...
