I may be totally off base here, but it looked to me like there was a little creative editing of this video to show a seriously skewed section of carpet become straight as an arrow when the seam was made.

And that new top cutter... it might be a good tool, but the name he gave it is one of the worst trade mark decisions anyone has ever made, unless they happen to be in the porn business. Just try looking up that tool on Google or Yahoo! without the adult content filters turned on.
