Commercial Cut Pile Carpet looking like pine floor

Wow, talk about timing. Our friend Sean (the squirrel victim) just called and is doing up a funky home office, has wainscotting and fishing stuff all over the walls, wants floorcovering to top it off. His first suggestion was pine, but we told him that after about 15 minutes, his chair would only roll in two directions ...

You guys have access to far more stuff than we do, have any of you ever seen a commercial cut pile that's printed to look like a wood (maybe knotty pine) floor? We have until the end of the week to find something that will pop (not to install, but to propose).

D&D

(Sorry, Deb screwed up on the subject line ...)

Carpet that looks like wood?...? I wouldn't go there. But how about a masculine pattern with a modern manly feel? My suggestion would be one of the colour ways in the Town and Country range by Axminster Ltd.

The agent in your area is a heck of a nice guy named Michael Church. The last I knew Michael was working out of Kirkland, PQ. Here's a photo of a recent manly den we did. Axminster carpets are fantastic office carpets.

Hope this helps,

Dobby

PS: My next recommendation would be a large scale oriental pattern, something
that would instill that lodge look.

Hey, David:

Thanks for the suggestion, but we don't think our french-canadian friend is gonna go for asian. Think "Uncle Buck". Maybe we should show him a herrringbone. Failing that, there's always the fleur des lis. We'll let you know what he finally selects.

Hope you guys had a great long weekend. It was our first weekend off in 5 weeks.

Thanks for the link, D. The magellan seagrass looks like something he would like. I'll try to grab some samples from my Carpet One dealer tomorrow since we are checking out the room after work.

This might be the product you were looking for, Neofloor which is Flotex.
