installing Hardwood Flooring

I am about to purchase some hardwood flooring (Bloodwood). I currently have contractors grade wood flooring now. There is no warping or cupping. I do see the lines more during the winter. I now have questions because I have been hearing alot about humidity and temp. control. My house when vacant reaches 80ish with 49% humidity ( I purchased a thermometer about a month ago to get avg's and highs and lows). Please share any concerns and/or remedies you might have. Also, wouldn't a dehumidifier be a better control than air conditioner on all day? Please assist. Newbie.
