Removing tile sealer

Anyone know af a way of removing tile sealer from prefininshed Brazillian Cherry. Tile guy was very sloppy in applying sealer and slopped it on the wood floor. On one side of the kitchen it would not be a problem to remove the planks that run parallel to the tile, but on the other side the would runs at a 45 degree and every plank has sealer along the edge. I'm talking 1-2" along the edge. Homeowner has tried a few thing but nothing removes it. I suggested putting sealer on a scrap piece of wood and the trying something stronger to see if it affects the finish.

Re: Removing tile sealer

Hi Chris-- dampen a rag with the same sealer to loosen it up, and then use ammonia to clean the rest of it up. Ammonia will cut it really well.

Which sealer is it? Whose sealer and which one specifically?
