Mapei Ultrabond Hardwood Flooring Glue

I am curious how long a 5 gallon bucket of glue (mapei ultrabond 990) will last once it is opened. Have a small section to do and will only use a small portion of the glue and will need to use the rest in a couple of weeks after another batch of flooring is acclimated. Wasn't sure if the remainder would harden up on me in the 2 week period before i need the remaining glue.

You should be fine, get the lid on as tight as possible. you will have a decent skin on it within a few weeks of about maybe 3/4" thick. Just cut around the edges and discard. if its going to be longer than a few weeks then rub some of the glue around the rim of the bucket and use some heavy duty 3-6mil plastic and place this over the opening and then put the lid back on. when your done flip the bucket over and store upside down. This way you will get a smaller skin but it will form on the bottom and when you set it upright and open the bucket your glue is wet and ready to go like new.
