installing bamboo glue down, do i have to fill holes from tack strips first?

I was wondering about this. Is it really necessary? I have 3/4 pre-finished bamboo and going to do a glue down installation above grade. Going to use Bosticks MVP over the concrete, then glue w/ Bosticks Best.

I have pulled up the carpet and was wondering do i have to fill the holes from the nails in the tack strips just along the baseboard part. The holes are about 1 1/2 inch from the wall. I was going to use a portland based cement patch to fill em in before i rent a scarifier for the concrete to get it smooth and get up the old glue and then check for levelness.

does this sound about right?

wouldn't hurt. how big did the holes get after pulling the nails? if just the size of nail no prob if "blown out" patch
