"Old Pergo repair," in the Hardwood and Laminates Q&A forum, begins: "Got a call the other day from our Mannington rep said one of the VP from Mannington has a brother ..."
Got a call the other day from our Mannington rep said one of the VP from Mannington has a brother that needed his Laminate fixed ask if I could take care of it? I said sure have him call me, he does and I go over to his brothers to look at it, it is Pergo and is the old glue method so I go ahead and fixed it. It has been down for 7 years and his left over was in the garage all this time, everything went ok until I had to tie in the last row, the pergo must have taken in some moisture for it have grew to were I was almost a 1/4 inch to much over 5 planks. That was fun trying to route the last row to make it fit. Here is a few photos of the area.
Yes we had it in the room for two weeks. Next I not only glued the seams but used the Kool Glide with the utility tape at the seams.
You would not want to take it apart.
