Re: Keep Close in Prayer
Thank you Scott.
I am happy it helps remind others of the truly important things in life.
We would happily give up anything in this world for just one more hug, one more smile, one more I love you from Larry. ANYTHING. The material things in this world mean absolutely nothing anymore.
The next time you start to get stressed out and angry because a job cancels at the last minute, or the work slows down, stop for just one moment……think about life without one of your children….I mean really think about it, and consider what your life would be like then.
A couple of weeks after we lost Larry, a tornado ripped through a neighborhood somewhere and there was a man on the news crying and in pain because he and his wife lost everything they owned. They lost their house and EVERYTHING in it including their car…. We would WHOLE HEARTILY, HAPPILY, trade places with that man and woman because they lost everything EXCEPT their children….
Thank you again for your kind words and prayers…they truly do help.
Gratefully,
Tammy

Re: Keep Close in Prayer
The big 18 is here and this is not the way I had seen it to be. Not this way at all. I seen a young man with a big smile. A smile of joy from the surprises that we managed to get for him. Sometimes I didn’t know who was more excided me or you. Your joy took my pain from every day work away. Your joy made my heart full. When things seemed hard I thought of you. You helped me through so much in my life son and I want you to know this. I’m no longer the man I was. When you left part of me went with you that day. I know I shouldn’t be crying damn it but I am missing you, so deal. I don’t walk the same. I don’t talk the same. I don’t act the same. Why did I write all this on your birthday? Because I’m all mixed up. This isn’t how it’s suppose to be. God what ever Larry wants please give it to him and I do mean anything. I love you Son and I’m with you, at least part of my heart is. Happy Birthday Son love Dad.

Re: Keep Close in Prayer
That's a difficult question to answer, so I hope Darien and Tammy don't mind if I answer it for them by saying...
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. While there is strong physical evidence, and eye witness statements, that point to mechanical malfunction, conclusive determinations are not possible without individual labratory testings of the vehicles structural assemblies. A very costly undertaking.
Which means, as horrible as this event has been for all the families involved, closure {{if you can all it that}} or even a semblence of understanding what actually happened, may be a while in comming.
Another reason why our prayers and support need to continue. And they will.
Sincerely,
David

Re: Keep Close in Prayer
This will be a difficult day for you Darien... try and hang in there and know people have remembered you today, and can appreciate we are not going through what you've gone through.
Happy fathers day to you sir.

Re: Keep Close in Prayer
I'll say the same as Jerry said.
I have a son who lives in Ca. that I see once every 2 years and when I leave I always wonder if that will be the last time I see him all blubbery.
