Rick Randal
Last night here in Walla Walla, Washington we lost a brother. Rick Randal was a local good guy in this trade and known as a no nonsense hard worker. Latest word was he suffered a brain aneurysm. Was working with his son Todd at the time, and was able to give Todd a glance and a hand squeeze before he lost conciousness.
Let's all wish Todd the best, he has worked with his dad for 14 years and now faces it alone. Don't know his skill level yet, but will offer my help in anyway to keep him going. He is a great looking young man and seems to have the desire. Cause believe it or not, he showed up at the shop this morning to load the goods to go and finish the job. And wasn't about to let anyone else take his place.
Don't know Ricks age, but Todd is 35.

Always sad, but it sure sounds like Todd has a friend and mentor in you, CP. You are a good man.

Re: Rick and Todd Randal
It's always sad to lose one of our own. Todd will have his own real live angel in cproader.
I edited the title of the thread because when I first saw it, I thought we had lost 2 members of the same family. Hope you don't mind.
My condolences. Please keep us up to date on services, etc.

Re: Rick Randal
Ok, time out guys. I didnt' mean to make it sound like I was doing any great deed here. I have simply offered my experience and knowledge of this biz to a young man who is suddenly on his own. I have a son working with me, and if the same thing happened to me I know people like yourselves would be right there to help him out if needed. Thanks for the compliments, but believe me they are undeserved.
Still haven't released any arrangements or shedules as of yet. Seems to be kindda private. I will let you know any details as soon as delivered. Thank you guys for being here for guys like myself. I didn't know Rick very well, but I was in quite a somber mood lastnight. But like always, youi guys can pick me up.

Re: Rick Randal
Sad story.
............ sounds like his kid has the inner strength and motivation needed to carry on the tradition. Sounds like a smart guy, so just keep an eye on him.
... offer him work assisitance if you think he needs it. ........ not much more you can do CP.

I wish the best for that young man and his family. I lost my father at a young age . I love him and will never forget him . He was a very inspirational and educational father. My blessings.
