In Memory of Eric Roessler

I am sad to report to you the passing of Eric Roessler, of ER Floor Repair, Reno, NV. Eric spent many years installing and repairing carpet, vinyl hardwoods and laminates in the Northern Nevada area. Eric had a major heart attack at just 48 years old. He leaves behind a wife and other family that I have yet to gather complete information on. I will give you that information when I have it.

Funeral services will be at Walton Funeral Home, at their chapel on the corner of Second and Vine Streets, in Reno, NV. on September 5, 2006, at 3PM. TheFloorPro.com will be sending a donation in support of the wife and any children of $50.00 as soon as we have an address. I hope that you will take the time to send your condolences and possibly a small donation when I post the address in the next day or so. If, instead, you would like to add to the donation TheFloorPro.com will be sending, I would be happy to provide you with PayPal information for you to do so. Our donation will be in the name of "The Floor Pro Community" and will otherwise be anonymous.

If you would like to leave your thoughts here in this thread, please do so. I will pass along to the family information to be able to access this forum and see your messages of hope and condolence.

We are greatly saddened by the loss of a fellow professional. We honor Eric now with our thoughts and prayers for his family and friends.

Well, I did not know Eric but his name rings a bell with me for some reason. I am always sorry when an installer dies so young. Very sad and I send my condolences to all his family and friends. I would be happy to contribute what I can to help his family through this very difficult time.

Please accept, from myself and my family, our deepest, and most heartfelt sympathies upon hearing of the sudden loss of your loved one. Though we did not have the privilege of knowing Eric personally, we did share the common bond of our chosen trade, and for that, we will hold his memory close in our hearts.
Respectfully,
SK Hardwoods, and family

Re: In Memory of Eric Roessler

It is sad to see the loss of someone who shared so much in common with ourselves. At a time like this I find comfort in Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Eric's family.

Re: In Memory of Eric Roessler

My sincerest condolences to the family, as well. Remember-- this isn't "good-bye". It's "See you later." Not that that helps right now, I know.
