Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
This workshop is not likely to draw anyone that is not a professional. It is not goint to bring in the everyday hack that does not care about the type of work that he does. I wish it would. Daniel, I like you theme but another could be "Keep an Open Mind". An open mind is necessary for change.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
Jerry I would love to be there. If I did the haka I would scare all the bad people away. As it happens we are arriving at Vancouver on the 18th July from New Zealand (14.45 hour flight) No one would give Selva his $150 so what do you think of my chances of getting the air fares to Tulsa. I don't know how long it would take to fly from LA to Tulsa but the trip to LA from here is 11.5 hours but if you want to post money to me I will give you my address.
PS I don't mind paying for the hotel to be fair.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
Just a couple of comments:
1. Be assured planning is in the works and no one is anticipating any kind of a brew-ha-ha! OK, maybe one lady jumping from a cake BUT THAT'S IT!
2. I am still cringing at the cost however. I'm thinking perspective attendees should keep an open realistic mind about the cost of this function. I'm thinking the cost is going to be greater than fifty bucks per person, I guarantee you the benefits will be.
3.Well crap! I got distracted and lost my train-of-thought. I can see now why Elvis used a 38 on that television in Vegas that time.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
Peter,
My mother in law will be 92 next month. I will have to use all of my considerable selling skills to convimce my wife I need to go to the workshop.
I live in Storm Lake Ia, just south of the Iowa Great Lakes area. I would be interested in discussing a ride share agreement with you. Your car or mine, makes no difference.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
well, I am hoping a good friend will ride with me,
right now, if he comes,,,, our plans may be to leave on Saturday at noon,
if he does not go, maybe we on the southeast coast can join up somewhere to share the ride non stop,,,
old hippie style,
well, for me to get there, I would go thru Atlanta then across country or go I 40 to Memphis, then across the big water,
