RG, I was thinking the same thing.......the flooring industry seems to have had a drag on me lately. One thing I know......once ya ever get sawdust in yer shoes.......You'll NEVER get it out.

By the way, did I mention I am STILL PLANNING ON BEING IN TULSA in May?

If I had to guess, I would say i am not going to make it to Tulsa. We have had another 5 inches of rain. Everything is flooded.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop

Just something I have been thinking about regarding the topic of "Building Bridges - Not Walls".
My feeling is that one of the essential elements in building this kind of bridge is finding "common ground".
Finding common ground is not the same as settling for the lowest common denominator - it's generating a new "highest common denominator." It's not about having two sides meet in the middle, but having them identify something together they can aspire to and work toward. When people who really care about an issue come together and bring their best thinking from their various perspectives, there is the potential for new options to be generated.

Walls are often built as a result of misconceptions.
Many people have difficulty relinquishing misconceptions because the false concepts may be deeply ingrained in the mental map of an individual. Some people also do not like to be proven wrong and will continue clinging to a misconception in the face of evidence to the contrary.

Going to rest now... my head hurts.

Got my copy of FCI today. Page 56, FITS Certified Inc. to present workshop for installers and inspectors. And of course it says in association with the Floor Pro Community.
