I'm tryin to get there as quick as I can, but I missed my shuttle at Seattle to Walla Walla, so I got home in the middle of the night, took off and about 6 am got grounded at Salt Lake City for flyin through restricted airspace......they have yet to release my plane. But when they do I'm back in route. So if ya guys see an F-15 tryin to catch a blur, that'll be me.......
You get the new plane or you still got the old one? It's a wonder they didn't shoot you down Then ask questions

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop

I am not going to be there even tho I signed up for it . I emailed Danny and Nick about a month ago to let them know that. I would very much like to be there and meet you guys but it ain't going to happen. I would like to explain why, and be very truthful about it .....

I'm what you call a workaholic I guess. The last vacation time I took with my family was in August of 1999 ..... Myrtle Beach. I also have three sisters whom I adore. Two of them live out of state .... Wilmington Delaware and Charleston South Carolina....... I have never once took any time off to go visit with them and see their new homes. They come back home several times a year to see me..... but I have never been to see them.

I got to thinking to myself..... how stupid I am. So starting now I am going to get my priorities more in order....my family first, then comes work. I am going to take the family somehwere.... visit a few days with my sisses... maybe play around of golf

After i got them taken care of i will try to attend another get together with you guys..... my apologies but the clock is ticking and I need to get my act together before it's too late....

Y'all have a great time .... and somebody smack cp for me ...

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop

I had also planned to go, but now cannot afford it. Two days ago, one of my best friends for the past 45 years passed away and made me realize, I need to to spend more time with my family. I also think do to the weather in this part of the country, this is probably not the best time of year to have this.

If that aint the biggest blunder I ever made..........ya gotta be kiddin me, right...

Good grief......well ok......I would like to apologize to ya guys fer bein such a #$#$#% !!!!.....I am home now, because after bein up all night Thursday and sittin around waitin fer my slappin to end, I just couldn't get there on Friday....the wrong Friday..........and on my way back last night, my mom calls to tell me my dad was in the hospital with an unknown illness. So I am going to be there today with them, and I'll be drawin up plans fer a legal airspace route to see ya guys NEXT WEEK-END !!!!......

So prayers fer my dad, and unlike some of ya, I believe in the power and effectiveness of prayer........I aint namin any names er nothin Jerry....

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop

With the cost of fuel rising so drastically in the past year or so we have all but totally curtailed our little evening and weekend pleasure drives around the countryside.

I can't imagine what a recreational flight half way across the country must cost!

In all honesty, I'm not seeing much humor (for you) in your trip so far - what a bummer. I have no idea what it costs to violate forbidden air space either.

My prayers are with your dad.
