Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
Peter thanks for the offer. However, taking deposits now would create some bookeeping that I do not want to do right now. Maybe as we get closer to the workshop date. I want to devote the bookeeping time to getting the best workshop possible put together, and I need the help of all of you.
Do you guys think I should print CRI-104 & 105 for the workbook or does everyone have their own copy? I am going to print some of the topices we have had on the board that deserve more thought and sharing of ideas.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
Been out of town and just tuned into this hot topic - 9 pages is a lot to catch up on! Yes, this is an idea whose time has come...count us in. Keeping this a simple 'meat & potatoes' type workshop would be a good way to generate lots of shared info comfortably. As much response as this topic has had, we might even be considering an annual or semi annual event! As for dividing into topic groups, I for one would not want to miss one single minute of any topic suggested thus far!
As for the date chosen, did anyone think about May 11 being Mother's Day??

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
Sounds like some guys are driving, to save on cost if their familys are not coming they might connect with someone else and share expenses.
Tandy, are you going to try to MC this whole show yourself? Might I suggest a format of 1 installer and 1inspector be on the podium at all times to be the chairman or spokesman, just to keep things moving. Could be different guys each day. Just some ideas.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
rg, I have no intent of mcing the entire event. Somewhere I posted that we would want an installer and an ispector moderating each subject covered. I suggested the moderators have 5 min to introduce subject and then the installers and inspectors would have 2 or 3 min. to ask questions or make statements about the subject at hand.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
I'll try to put together an outline of the itinerary to date and keep it updated so others won't have to read the entire topic to see what has been decided on, or is still up for further discussion. I'll try to do that tonight or tomorrow night, if I can.

Yes, when we are ready for the official announcement. There's still a question about the date that hasn't been addressed yet. Do we really want to hold this on Mother's Day? But the outline is just for the topic, not the calendar. It's just so's people don't have to read the whole thread to get an idea what we've been discussing.

Re: Installer & Inspector Workshop
Question, Tandy posted awhile back on what needs to be known on a job. Do weput our ideas in this thread or put them somewhere else? This has got to be one of the all time high posts in a thread.
