Just for the record concerning FITS Certified
I have heard that inspectors are leaving FITS Certified because I have sold FITS. To set the record straight, I still own part of FITS and remain an active participant in it. Deron and Chris are very capable of taking FITS to a higher plane that I by myself was capable of doing.
So don't be misled by lies and untruths by other orgiznations. Your membership investment here is much more valuable than other places that are interested only in your money. We are truly here to help the inspectors and installers.

Tandy,
I hope you don't mind that I moved this topic to a forum that can be viewed by all flooring professionals and not just those who can view the FITS Certified forum. I think it's a very important piece of news and all pros should be able to see it. If you disagree, I would be happy to move it back - along with my apologies.

Thank you T for moving it into the appropriate forum and Tandy thank you to your vote of confidence. Tnady is still CEO of FITS. He has been a great frien and advisor. I can tell you that Deron and I are committed to making FITS the "ELITE" inspection training school. Only yesterday I sent out an email to the FITS Certified inspectors the 2008 class schedule and I am already getting a very good response. With the exeption of one class here in the Detroit area, the rest are on the road. To this schedule I intend on adding two day technical workshop. I know how much travel can cost and I plan on coming to the inspectors. Cities such as Toledo, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Buffalo, NY, Salem, NJ, Dalton, GA twice, Las Vegas, NV, Tulsa, OK. I can say right now that since yesterday I have had an overwhelming response to Las Vegas. Others will come, I am sure of that. FITS has alot to offer, and Deron and I feel a lot more than you will find anywhere else. The complete schedule should be posted on FITS Certified website soon.
