Re: Reports from the front: Installer-Inspector Workshop
Sorry... How many miles? I think it would look good in the press release.

Re: Reports from the front: Installer-Inspector Workshop
I feel sorry for the poor person setting beside Roland for 1200 miles. His ear is probably still ringing.
I think I started the thing picking on Roland as he wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise when he was up front. I even told thim to face the wall so he couldn't see who was talking but to no avail. After that Roland was our redheaded stepchild. I can't say redhaired for reasons you can see in the pictures. He is so pick on able, but we love him anyway.

Daris, you're a bad man. I can't believe how you pick on poor, poor Rawland.

Jim, If you want to give a certificate for best dressed it would have to go Mike Currin. The pinkish shirt during his presentation was no fashion foopaa. The most swear words in three days certificate would have to go to Russ Irwin. The youngest and best looking would have to go to myself.

Daris you just had to tell C.F.I Head quarters and have Jane look at the photos. Oh by the way I was all talked out and slept on the plane most of the way home.

Good thing I couldn't make it because of Mother's Day and the Flower Shop business, or it would have been a tag team with Roland!! My wife says I can't shut up and I talk too loud and everyone hears me.

Re: Reports from the front: Installer-Inspector Workshop
Sounds like the meeting went well. I'm glad my CFI Brothers had such a great showing. I'm sorry I couldn't be there but the finances in the situation I'm in would not allow me to come. Physically, I am capable of making that travel now so hopefully all have one again next year. And I guarantee my finances will be better by then. Keep the post up. I am enjoying reading them till then.
HAVE A GREAT DAY

Re: Reports from the front: Installer-Inspector Workshop
Yeah maybe next year don't plan it on a holiday like MN fishing opener/Mother's Day weekend.
Unfortunately my plans even got changed that weekend as I got to attend a funeral for a friend.
Still I can't help be amazed by the knowledge and experience that was represented at the conference and would have loved to have been a part of it.
Hopefully next year.

Re: Reports from the front: Installer-Inspector Workshop
I been thinking. I know thats what you all smell burning. But maybe next year we can do some demo's of both installation and inspection. That would give both parties more insight as to what goes on in both fields.
What is it they say" a seminar[workshop] without a demonstration is nothihg but a conversation." Something like that.
I would volunteer for the stairway actually most anything else related to carpet.
Just a thought.

And a very good thought at that Daris. Great idea. Let's work on it.

Re: Reports from the front: Installer-Inspector Workshop
How would it be if Daris installed the stairway and theb Chris inspected it?
Be more fun if Roland did the install, then we could all pick on him!
