Do you want to attend the Installer-Inspector Workshop 2009?
The title says it all: Do you want to attend the Installer - Inspector Workshop 2009? It will be held April 17 & 18, 2009, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
If so, are you planning to bring a friend or associate? What questions do you have that will help you decide? If you are not going, your comments about that would be appreciated.
Please vote in the poll above.
Thanks,
TFP Admin

Re: Do you want to attend the Installer-Inspector Workshop 2009?
I was able to attend the last one, but I am afraid I will not be present for this one. I did one inspection in June, one in August and one in October. Shaw has been my main client, but since they started to get stingy with the mileage rate, I guess I am too expensive. I simply cannot justify the expense with the few inspections I am doing.

Re: Do you want to attend the Installer-Inspector Workshop 2009?
I am glad to see the poll, It is time to get involved (as the saying goes it is time to cut bait or fish). Start saving for the trip. I am on the line for the rental of the hall. In addition, it is hard for everyone to make a decision to come until they know what is on the menu. So how-about all of us come up with who is invited, and what is going to be on the program. Then if the workshop does not come about the most we have done is share ideas, which in its self is not bad.

Hopefully business will pick up soon and I'll be able to go. Work is kinda slow right now.

Tulsa is a little too far away, but it has always been hard to get anything up in the northwest.

Re: Do you want to attend the Installer-Inspector Workshop 2009?
We have 6 and a half months before the time for workshop and we are still trying to find out who is wanting to come. If we are going to do this we need to line up speakers and topics before the end of the year. This will give us time to get the word out and try and reach people to come. I feel we still need to have mill tech's and claim people to come to put their input in for all of us ( I might even listen and not talk ) I will be glad to make calls for this but I need to know if we are going forward with it.

Re: Do you want to attend the Installer-Inspector Workshop 2009?
I am planning to be at the workshop. I missed the poll on line. There was a lot of folks present this year with a lot of information to pass on to the ones present. I am a rookie in the inspection business but i'm for anything that will increase my knowledge on flooring related issues.

Re: Do you want to attend the Installer-Inspector Workshop 2009?
I would love to go but due to the travel costs of me getting there would be over the top. Last year Jerry was meant to send me a FEDX bag but I never got it It's a pity that the timing wasn't closer to Surfaces. I might have been able to attend in conjunction with that trip as we will be arriving at LA on about the 19th Jan and leaving 7th Feb and stretched it out a little longer
