This is Armstrong's product since discontinued the pattern is inlaid probably too expensive with current photo engraving.

Ah yes, I remember it well.

If/when you find some of the original inlaid Designer Solarian or Coronelle, there are only a select few who will be able to install that old brittle, asbestos backed vinyl. The first on your list for installers should be CP and Lo Down.

Re: stencilcraft where to get some

It wasn't asbestos backed. Stencilcraft came out well after asbestos was removed from production.

Where are you located jbaca?

You might be able to find some old stock still being sold at some stores.
One store in my home town does have some of the Armstrong discontinued 6 ft inlaids for sale yet but not that pattern.

Definitely going to want a good installer for that type of product as Barry suggested.

I was jesting about the old DS and Coronelle patterns that was the same.

Stencilcraft was a lighter/thinner version of Designer Solarian. A friend of mine use to have a place to go for items like this. I'll check and see if he still has it.

Oh puleeeze!

This was a pattern copied by others such as Congoleum, but the Armstrong inlaid product was the best looking and best quality made. It was a truely timeless pattern in my opinion. It went from a linoleum product to a vinyl product and later the thickness was reduced a bit in the Stencilcraft line.
We all know why you want to find some of this old material........... I was good stuff and lasted too long.
