new project for customer

here is a fun project that was finished middle of last week... in the picture were the guy is standing were cabinets that were purchased, and we installed, The window seat and the pantry cabinet beside it, I built in the shop and the table unit, I also built in the shop, I ordered stain from the cabinet company so it would match, ( my lousey camera skills make it look a little different)... the table is bar height, and looks down into a sunken living room, and there is a big screen TV that can be seen from the "bar table" It is kinda like going to a sports bar every day... Fun Project.. Oh and we did all the underlayment , vinyl, and carpet for the house..

Do you sub out the roofing and wiring work?
Holy smokes, what ever made you get into flooring work? That's some really custom stuff you did. Very nice.

thanks, guys
Yes lo, I do let some one else do the roofing and wiring,
I only do "decorating" stuff. I do not like the normal Carpenter stuff.
I was raised in a decorating store, and am anal retenive( as my wife tells me) It seemed for a short time there was more money in flooring than in custom woodworking( boy that has changed now.) That is why I did it.... Honestly I never really liked installation, but did enjoy the detail work of the the rug carving. that is why I got into the area rug and wovens (hand sewing, hand binding etc...etc) and in the binding business. I like working on the machines more than actually using them.. ... guess I should start saying " Defenatly" (spelled the way I would say it) about 5 times in a row, and start asking " Wapner On"? ( a reference from the movie rainman for those that don't get that.)

here is a base I just finished, and have been playing with a few guys.. Yes I build guitars for a hobby. ( my favorite thing to build) this was made out of scrap in the shop and a bunch of left over electronics...
