Holmes on Homes is the best because he's going to gut the joint and redo it from scratch every time and you know that already going in. It's fun to watch him hem and haw as if he's trying to be conservative then rip the whole joint apart like you know darn well it needs to be done. Before that the one I liked was "Flip this House" and there are many more real estate, design and construction related shows I'll follow. I don't have a lot of time for TV anymore but when I do stare at the Idiot Box these are the kinds of shows that captivate me.
