Topic: Tool Give-Away: our first

We hope to begin a new tradition here at TheFloorPro.com, Give-Aways. Our very first is a Senco DS202-14V 14.4-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Screwdriver, shown at left. Although offering give-aways was long on the to-do list, this one came about rather abruptly when it came to our attention that our previously planned raffle was in violation of laws in the state I reside in, as well as the states the host company and server are located in. But we bounced back with this idea.

The winner of this fine tool is Floorguy, an early member and supporter of the site. Congratulations, Floorguy. We hope that you will find frequent and productive work with this tool. Here's more information about the Senco DS202-14V 14.4-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Screwdriver:

You weren't informed because we didn't think you could afford the $179 contest entry fee.
............ oh boy.... am I gonna get it for that one! I don't care.

Re: Tool Give-Away: our first

Sorry, DJ, had to edit your post to correct the spelling of Floorguy.

When we found out the raffle was illegal, we had to change the plan. We still had a tool to get rid of, so we made it a give-away instead. This also made the eligibility list grow quite a bit, since we couldn't make only those who donated eligible. We will have more give-aways though, so you may win yet.

Re: Tool Give-Away: our first

No, DJ, you don't have to pay. Lo Down was just joking. Floorguy doesn't have to pay shipping either. When we were going to have a raffle instead of a give-away, the raffle was $5.00 a chance. Floorman67 pointed out it was illegal and we had to cancel it. I sent emails and PMs to the eligible donors asking them if they wanted their money back and, so far, all have said no. Still haven't heard from a couple though. I'm also sending a TheFloorPro.com cap to anyone who donated, regardless of their eligibility for the raffle (staff members are not eligible to win any open contests or give-aways here, but several donated to support the site and my trip to Surfaces).

Sorry for the confusion. Good thing Lo Down isn't a professional comedian. He'd be a broke comedian.

Not dry at all....... most often has 12 ounces or more of liquid pumped into it.
Hang out more often and you will see how humorous we really is.

Re: Tool Give-Away: our first

Tool arrived today! Thanks Jerry!! Thanks TFP!

I can't wait to check it out. I might have to bid a subfloor replacement job, real low, just so I can get a chance to use it. (not a chance)

I could have used it last October!

Thanks again.
