Re: And the KoolGlide Winners are...
I thought the Kool Glide contest was a GREAT contest. I know I sure had a great time with it. There was a wealth of information put out there. I'm sure a lot of us learned a lot about the tool and what it can do.
Just my opinion.

Re: And the KoolGlide Winners are...
I'm glad someone won it, that didn't already have one.
I'm also glad the the 2nd and third place winners already had one, to be able to use the stuff they won.
It is amazing it all worked out like that. I was so afraid, that the only ones posting about it, with pictures and all, were going to be the one's winning another KoolGlide, or the guys without one, would be getting stuff they would not be able to use.

I think Chris did have one he just bought though. Not absolutely possitive on that.

Even someone without a KG could use it - they could have chose conventional tape from Seam Master, I believe. That base was covered.

I was really disappointed that we had so few people enter that didn't have one. They could have talked about conventional seaming, repair methods, as well as starting rows of hardwood the old fashioned way and the same with decorative tile. I kept thinking it was my contest description that was to blame, but I mentioned it so many times. Still, I can't help but feel this contest wasn't the best one I ever came up with. Good people won and did an excellent job, but I just wanted more participants.
Anyway, I gotta move past it now.
