Nick Arrera, NWFA Certified Inspector
Mr. Jim asked me to post more about Mr. "Special Nick" NWFA certification".
First, Nick had no experience with report writing, and to do as well as he did was GREAT!
After a few tries, he got the hang of it, I don't think those $600.00 bottle of whiskey had anything to do with it.
Many take the test and fail the report writing session then refuse to try again but not Nick, he saw it as a challenge to overcome and learn and learn he did.
Then, Nick saw the format as a tool to use during inspections and learned that he could learn more about wood from following it, in other words, insight, and a keen mind analyzing the format, the procedures and how to look at wood inspections different.
I want to thank Mr. Jim for the op to say in front of all Nick's friends, great job, you learned instead of quitting, you learned to analyze the facts following procedures to logical conclusions that are correct.
And special thanks to Don Connor and the lovely beautiful Sharon for allowing Nick the time to learn, grow and become a NWFA Certified Inspector, job well done Mr. Nick.
Now, I am heading back to Grumpys bar where the women are fat and ugly, the men too drunk to care, and the bikers are afraid to visit, and each morning I have to roll the drunks out the door around noon from all night partying.
later guys

Re: Nick
Nick I know how much hard work you have put into this certification process talking to you on Skype and how frustrated you were at times. I also know that Selva helped you through a lot as well to get your NFWA Certification. Good on you

Re: Nick
Wow, congratulations, Nick. Does this mean I have to give you a 10% raise?
Thanks to you too, Selva. Your email didn't explain it as well as you laid out here. Quite an accomplishment. And you are and always have been an asset to the floorcovering industry. Thanks for all the help you give to pros in and out of Grumpy's Bar.

Re: Nick Arrera, NWFA Certified Inspector
Not only is Nick now NWFA certified, but, he received a special invitation to three future classes being held at two universities.
Nick, while not attending the first university taught class directly formated for inspectors, however, he was one of the forces behind it with encouragement, ideas, and helped contact people to solve logistical issues.
I am not sure if you guys realize what an asset he is and was to us in developing this program.

Re: Nick
Who is this new guy Nick?
Only one that I know is a computer nerd with a plastic pocket protector for his pens and pencils, wearing black rimmed glasses held together with electrical tape and a having a life sized Bill gates bronze in his office.
I wish I had 1/4 of your brains Nick................... but that would only leave you with 3/4 of a brain, so just forget that I said that.
Congratulations Nick.
