Trout fishing in style.
I was out doing some measuring Friday, and ran across this rig for sale. Tricked out with a 25hp jet, rod holders, livewell, drystorage, captin seats, trolling motor, and many others.

Heck no Jim! The guy wants $11,000 for it. I am interested in buying a fifthwheel though. Anyone got one they want to sell? Tandy?

Re: Trout fishing in style.
I'd say for that price he really doesn't want to sell it that bad. We've had a little experience with jet outboards and when you jet a motor it puts out less power that if it had a prop. It takes a lot more poop to run the jet.
Maybe you can get a boat that will fit on top of your fifth wheel.
We were fishing up the inside passage in Canada and saw a boat, around 100 ft., that had a platform on the back with a 22 ft. speed boat in case he needed it, four jet skis, two on each side and on top of the boat was a float plane that he could boom into the water. You know....in case you forgot beer or bait I guess.

Re: Trout fishing in style.
Danny that guy is on something. That jet attachment has reduced the 25 hp to a 10 hp. My boat is like that one except being white. It and the trailer cost me $1600.00 I already had the 25 hp four stroke motor, but a new one would cost less than $6,000.00. I will be up there Thanksgiving week site #44 come take a ride and fish with me if you get a chance. I will let you ride in a good trout boat for free.

Re: Trout fishing in style.
Now there are Trout Boats ???
Good Lord!!!
Years ago when I had my "Bass Boat" I always felt guilty when I would catch a crappie or a catfish using my "Bass Boat", it just didn't feel natural. If I would win the Lottery I would buy a new Bass Boat, a new Crappie Boat, a new Catfish Boat, and now I guess I would also have to buy a new Trout Boat.
But since I'm a poor flooring installer I guess I'll have to stay on the bank for a while. Which, by-the-way, is where my son and I were last friday when we caught ten of the nicest Rainbo's a guy could hope for. H-m-m-m-m-m! I wonder what the possesion limit is in this state.

Re: Trout fishing in style.
Bud are the trout in your area stockers or natives? BTW I also have a bass boat, and have caught cat fixh, crappie, hybrids, stripers, carp, a goose, 3 snakes dropped in when fishing flooded timber, and it is still a Bass boat but it has no pride anymore.

Re: Trout fishing in style.
In this part of Nebraska the trout are straight off the farm, like everything else around here. Local lakes are stocked twice a year but of course they don't last long.
I forgot about a couple of times I had snakes drop in on me for a visit, that's when my bass boat became an "empty boat". Fishin' boats don't need any pride, they just need to stay afloat and get you there and back.

Re: Trout fishing in style.
Well, I wish I had a boat. If I ever get one I would like a lil cuddy cabin and big enough to go out in the gulf for some snapper or trigger or grouper I remember everytime my dad would take me bass fishin', (in Florida)we'd just sit there and "nothin' "? Never caught a bass. Fishin' in the gulf is much more exciting to me, and always catch something I think the best fresh water fish I've ever eatin' was when I was stationed at Grand forks AFB in North Dakota. It was a walleye. Man that was some awsome tastin' fish as well as a good lil fight too
