missin' some posts

Jim, since the website got its facelift, I've had some issues with threads and posts that stayed "hidden". Rgfloor's about he carpet came up today for the first time to me. I've noticed several others that the first time I saw them was under "unread posts". Don't know if it's due to the facelift or not, just something I noticed.

Also When I got back and was trying to catch up on what was posted it said I had 2 pages of unread posts, but only could get one even though I clicked on the second. But when I left and came back there was page 2.

Well, I'm not sure about some of the issues you guys are asking about. I saw Roger's post after he posted it, but didn't check back to see if anyone replied. When newer topics get posted, the older ones get pushed down the list. His just got lost in the shuffle.

The forum software folks are getting ready to release another newer version that fixes a lot of bugs. It might be a few days or a few weeks, don't know. The "face lift" is just a skin though and shouldn't have anything to do with what you guys are referring to.

I have noticed sometimes when I post a topic or post it insn't on top of the list, on the new site or the old site.

We haven't changed sites. This is the one and only. There are some forums that have topics that have been "stuck" at the top of the list on purpose. You will see the prefix, "Sticky:" at the beginning of the topic title.

You might also check how your Display Options have been set at the bottom of each forum's list of topics. I have mine set to what you see below.

Also, when YOU post, or reply to a thread, it's new to everyone else, but not to you. So it won't show up, until some else replies.
