I am glad you asked. This board allows you to post...

It dawned on me that I hadn't changed the attachment sizes to something a little bigger so I did that right after the 3 dots above. But when I did and updated the database it messed up everyones uploaded pictures. The someone uploaded another picture while I was trying to fix them so I locked the thread until I was finished. I'm sorry Don.

Where was I?

Oh yes. This board allows you to upload up to 6 pictures and they can be as big as 750 pixels wide and can be up to 150,000 bytes (almost 150 Kb). If the picture is larger than 350 pixels wide the forum makes a thumbnail of it so you can click the picture and see the larger version. This way you can post 2 pictures side by side and not force people to scroll side to side to view them.

How to upload a picture from your computer?

Just below the message composition window (in Quick Reply go the advanced editor) you will see a button labeled Manage Attachments. When you click that another small window opens and you can click each of 6 Browse... buttons to locate pictures on your computer. After you select the pictures you want then click on the Upload button in that window and the file name of the pictures will appear underneath the the list with a remove button next to each of them (you can change your mind even after you uploaded the pictures). Close the little window and finish your post and click the Submit Reply/Post button. Your pictures will appear inline in your post.

I hope that helps and will encourage you to post pictures in some of your messages. Thank you for participating.

Those are some nice scenics, for sure. Darol and I aren't all that far from each other. I should take a ride up there some day. I love this part of the world. JJJ, you still comin' down this way?

Don't forget you guys can post pictures using BB code when the image is located on the Internet someplace. For those of you who don't have your own servers (website or just storage space), you can use some of the free image hosting services. Here is a short list, although I cannot recommend any of them because I don't use them and don't know their policies or limitations. Just click the links to check them out though.

From those hosting providers or your own server, posting an image couldn't be simpler in this forum. In the advanced post editor you just copy the exact image address, highlight the whole thing and click on the Insert Image icon in the tool bar and it will wrap the address of your picture in the IMG tags so the picture shows up on the page.

Click for larger image.

That must be Quincy in the springtime Jim. One of these days I'm going to make that turn off 395 and drive through your area. I'll have to be by myself cause me wifie doesn't like to get off the beaten path during a trip. I've been all the way up 89 but again, never made that turn. Someday.

We don't have any snapper Jon but we do have these critters. Though they're about 900 lbs. lighter. It's a white sturgeon. They can go to 1500lbs. @ 20 feet and live to 100 years.

The story goes.........

This sturgeon was caught on the Fraser River just above the Mission bridge

two weeks ago. It weighed out at over 1000lbs and measured out at 11'1". It

was 56" around the girth. It took over 6 and a half hours and 4 dozen beers

and 4 guys taking turns reeling.
