OH WAIT! That's Tuscania Portofino maybe, or something like that...ah-h-h-h but I digress........
If that tile is what I just used on a fancy job we just finished a couple of months ago, you are going to love working with that product. It looks exactly the same to me. It's about a 1/2" thick, cuts like a charm. We didn't have one tile come to us broken in 600 square feet and never had a single tile fracture-off while wetsawing. That is a fine fine product. Each and every piece was perfection and a pleasure to work with.
Personally I wouldn't use the Tuscan Levelling for the job you describe, it would just slow me down in that case. Mick won't want to here that but I think it would. I did use some Tuscan Levelling on a shower wall with 13" tiles and it wasn't that much fun. The problem there was the tiles were run-of-the-mill crap and once the tiles are pinched by the Tuscan device you can't tweak them later. Once the tiles are pinched in the system there is no moving them.
I agree with Bud, I would use the TLS pretty much on Stone, epoxy terrazzo tile, rectified porcelain, anything under 12" or material were grout joints are more than
1/16 to 1/8 would not make much sense to me.
Tony Lamar: "I figured you had it worked out, but, I just had to ask the questions that came to my mind. I'm real interested in checking it out. Very cool idea."
"Cool" my butt!
This idea is pure genius, and so stinkin' simple it amazes me.
Early-out and after only viewing the DVD I still had some hesitation but after receiving and holding the parts in my hand and then using the system I had to laugh at my earlier aprehension.
In fact it was kinda funny....
During the installation process I would click the cap into place and then feel the surface just to see if my eyes were playing tricks on me. I did this for about the first thirty or forty pieces then I asked myself; "Bud what the hell are you doing? The damned things work, why not leave it at that and move on?"
I got to thanks the Chianti Wine,
Did you ever check out the other invention that i have (the Mach 5 profiling system)
We (tuscan leveling) have some more products that will be introduced soon , wich I think will help even more the installation, cutting and polishing of tiles, soon we will be ready you and tileman will be the first to try.

Best news I've had in quite awhile I meet with the lady tomorrow afternoon and go over the layout. They usually put that off on us... whatever you think looks right.... we trust your judgment.
Thanks for providing more information, Mick. We have a forum you might be interested in, Product Announcements, News & Reports. At this time, that is the only avenue available for you to introduce your own products/services. That forum doesn't allow replies because it is only for the introduction or reporting of new products, promotions, news etc. We will soon have a different way to do that, which tentatively is being referred to as the directory and it will allow limited comments and a rating system.
You may have noticed by the rules everyone agrees to when they register, that we have a strict no advertising policy that applies to all. You haven't broken that rule and I am very pleased to see the discussion in this topic. This is just a gentle reminder and I hope very much that you will avail yourself of the opportunities we have to help make professionals and consumers aware of your products.
Another concept that has had quite good reception here at TFP is providing something for one of our give-aways or contests. It gives you some exposure and recognition and helps our site not only meet its goal to bring information and resources to all, but to increase our membership and participation levels - which in the end, is good for all of us. If you're interested, drop me a line. You can click my name in the upper left corner and contact me via email or private message.
Thanks again,
