online tool sales
Anyone ever buy anything from www.shagtools.com ?
I placed an order for some items with tools 4 flooring last week .
This week I was going to order a kool glide pro model iron. I found Shag tools was cheaper on every thing I ordered. They have all 4 types of kool glide tape as well as the glue sticks.
They seem to have more stuff than any other site I have seen.

I use toolsforfloors.com tools 4 floors is a copy cat and not as cheap I've found on the stuff I look at.

ToolsForFloors.com and Tools4Floors.com is actually the same site. If you go to tools4floors and click the (stupid) Enter button, you get toolsforfloors.

Oh, sorry, I was mistooken.  That's the site that advertises on several other flooring websites - I think I've seen it at FCI quite a bit.

Rusty I paid no sales tax and no shipping. With a small order I received today I paid about $6.00 for shipping. To drive to the closest supply house it cost me $50 for gas and 2 1/2 hours of my time. oh, and $4.00 for tolls.

Sounds like a better site than the ones I have bought from. They were charging $8. shipping on an $8. item.

I tried their site. Shipping for a $7.50 item was $8.33.

They have to make a profit too Rusty.
You buy an item for $7.50 how much do you think the dealer makes?? You think they should send it to you at a loss?

im living in Ireland myself, and recently used shagtools,
i have to say, i thought their service was second to none, i only bought a few items, a roberts carpet trimmer, a Crain dividers and a crain hinge scriber(it really is genius),
they where the only american compnay that would send to Ireland, i cant get Crain or Roberst tools over here, so its the only way, it works otu ok with the exchange rate though, thank god for week dollar
