I do like the Armstrong but I really prefer the Crain palm dividers (the small ones)
I think if I had to choose a tool I can't live w/o for my job it wiould have to be the linocut.

That pic needs some explainin'. Did you fall off of it or was there an earthquake? ..........maybe hunting for a matching white sock? That's funny Jerry.
My favorite tool is always the one I forgot to put in the van when I am working out of town.

My favorite tool to use is my brain. I've tried working without it but could never seem to be profitable. Now I use it before, during and after every job and things are so much better!

Dobby

PS: It's kind of pretty in colors, don't ya think.

Yeah.....I forgot about my airsled. Thanks Jerry. It has been a real life saver for my back for the last ten years. What a great helper.

I once moved an old oak upright piano across a living room with it. I made some longer hoses and set the whole thing on a runner of vinyl on top of carpet, and had the piano on the other side, about 25 feet in maybe a minute. They is some strong little buggers. If you haven't tried one of these you're missin a great tool.

I just noticed today in the Harbor Freight Tools flyer, they have a Crain knock off toe kick saw. It is bright orange.

Re: What is your favorite tool to use?

Welcome aboard pbslee! Floorguy, was in Harbor last week and saw one. Cheap too. Not sure yet how long thier brand tools last, but I'll find out with the couple of sprayers I bought. Also have a quick bench to build in my garage. Bought a circular saw for about $20. Really don't care if it pukes quick. Just a half dozen cuts in some plywood and 2X4s. Picked up a sbaer saw as well for $20.00.

I'm an inspector, I don't have to work for a living like most of you guys

Toekick saw at Harbor freight is about 60 bucks. If it pukes eventually who cares. Go by another one. By the was we don't call it Harbor Freight here, it's known as the China Shop.

Re: What is your favorite tool to use?

I have had one of their cheap $9 angle grinders, that I have had for 7 years now. I have put it through hell and back. I used it as my brick and stone undercut saw, for a year, with Lowdowns patented dust catcher.

I have a diamond cup wheel on it now with a dust muzzle.

Watch it will take a dump, on the next go around because I bragged about it.
