I agree with Chris on this, it takes no time for me to take them off and put them back on if I have to use a knee kicker, it may be a matter of how people learned or actually use a knee kicker. When I do residential work I only use the proknees until the tackless and pad is down, then switch to a different pair of pads. I have seen others knee kick with them, for whatever reasons I can not do it.
Once you have a serious problem with your knees, you become more aware of how valuable they are to our trade. I have 3 pairs of knee pads, I wear the pro knees 90% of the time, and even though I buy the other knee pads from the local distributor I could not even tell you who makes them.
Of course the more I read this thread, the more it sounds like we all own stock in proknees, but they are really that good.
