"difference in tools between the pond," in the Tools, Equipment and Supplies forum, begins: "Nick Arrera said

I think I have every profile of roller made, square both edges, round on the inside square on the outside, and round on the inside square on the outside.
Square square is used when I cove so I can roll all the way to the top edbe under toekicks,
I even have one that is only used on white material.
But I do use a hammer on Marmo seams to 'iron' them. It seems to help ensure that the seams are completely level and have no ledging.
The only tool I find a little uncomfortable to use are the napping shears. The tin snips we use to cut door metals kinda piss me off, too. I'm sure there are left-handed versions of those tools available, but other than the duplicate set of tools we have, the single tools won't be duplicated - Dave is too frugal to do something like that. The day we did berber on the boat, Dave in the bow cabin, me in the aft, the customer ran the napping shears back and forth to each of us all afternoon. I strongly suggested on the way home that he should really open his wallet and buy another pair, of course, that fell on deaf ears ...

Can you post a picture of them Barry . I would like to see them .
But you can just as easily look up the crain catalog.
All mine are the long handled ones.
If you really want a pic, I will need to clean up my coving roller (it's always the dirtiest as the adhesive oozes out the top of where the flooring meets the top of the toekick, always making a mess)
