Thank you Boa Tape

Had to do a nursing Home medical center with Tandus Power bond carpet, they are staying green not being able to have glue smell or anything that wiil cause concerns. They are doing the main area coming into the dining area to see how it will hold up,if after 6 months it is performing we will be doing 30,000.00 sf. Now to the point I had 72 feet of reducer to put down people area in the area so could not have any smell, went to the truck got the Boa Tape and man it worked great. Only bad thing is it took all i had.

Re: Thank you Boa Tape

I used it a few weeks back on the nieces basement remodel that got flooded .
I had to put two bends in a piece of coil stock to match and hold the drop ceiling.
Used a 4" strip ,smacked it with a mallet . wa la . very impressed with it .

Re: Thank you Boa Tape

Back to the topic of Boa tape... I have used it in similar applications as described here, but so far the best was to help out my Dad. He bought a newer Chevy Pickup, and the tailgate was so flimsy, he was afraid of denting the sheet metal just from kneeling on when loading his Mt. Bikes. I cut a piece of 3/8 Multiply to beef it up, but he was reluctant to put holes in the metal. I used the double contact tape to attach it, and that baby is rock solid.

Excellent product!

I wonder how it does in sub-zero temps.

Note: PREMIUM CONTACT is NOT approved for extruded
vinyl wall base because it cannot prevent shrinkage.
This would concern me, you can use the stuff for transition strips but not for vinyl base? Long term holding in high or rolling traffic conditions would also be my concern.

We don't get near that cold, but that's a good point. that tape is so gummy, I wonder at what temp it crystallizes and loose grip?

Re: Thank you Boa Tape

I attached my fly fishing fanny pack to a coaches bucket with the tape. It has not released at 18 degrees. Has been holding the fanny pack in place for about a week now and no slippage. The fanny pack weighs about 10 - 12 pounds loaded.

BTW have been catching a lot of big rainbows.
