One Day BASIC followed by Three days ADVANCED Inspections
DAY 1 - THE
BASIC INSPECTION COURSE is an INTRODUCTION to the Fundamentals of Wood Science and Wood Floor Inspection Techniques. It will not be Dumbed Down and will include testing moisture content in wood and concrete; inspection tools; and an introduction to psychrometrics and computing shrinkage. Get plenty of sleep and be ready to study some interesting new technical approaches to wood flooring.
DAYS 2-3-4 THE
ADVANCED INSPECTION COURSE (WHICH INCLUDES THE BASIC COURSE) expands the topics covered during the first day with some opportunities for concrete moisture testing certification, wood anatomy, building construction technology, explanations of the underlying science, extensive information on wood science and technology, how to document the inspection process, introduction to building drying technology, introduction to report writing, introduction to expert witness testimony. Lots of opportunities for questions and discussions.
