Konecto In The Bathroom

I Am Going To Install But Have A Few Questions. Condsidering The Water Issue In A Bathroom , Seems Lenghwise Of The Tub Is Best But I Was Told To Use Silicone At The Edge And Then Qtr Round. What Do You Think? As Its A Floating System Not Sure. And What About The Toliet? Around Or Under Like Linoleum? Silicone ?
Also Laying This Over Backer Board... Ceramic Tile Cracked And I Removed. Should I Remove It Also ? Noticed Some Of The Screws Used Were Not Sunk . And Theres Indents Where The Screws Are..
Didn't Really Want To Remove It But I Can. Suggetions Please

Re: Konecto In The Bathroom

Welcome Jan. I would make sure you countersink all the screws that are sticking up. The indentations at the screws will not be a problem. Make sure the backer is smooth and as far as caulking a floating floor, I have no problem doing this. In a small room such as a bathroom, there wont be much movement. I would also run it under the toilet. Good luck to ya, and we'll be pullin for ya.

Re: Konecto In The Bathroom

Make sure if you pull the toilet to replace the wax ring , and for another $.50 use new bolts ..
