Flexitec Mega vinyl flooring

We just purchased Flexitec mega Arizona with leo grip for our kitchen which is 25 feet by 12 feet. It is our main entrance off garage, very high traffic and we have two dogs, one large and one small. Do you think this will hold up for us? It has a 20 year warranty. We are wondering if the dogs nails will gouge or tear flooring. If we need to change our order we would need to do it immediately. Thank you.

Re: Flexitec Mega vinyl flooring

Thank you for inquiring on our favorite site.

As terminologies are sometime relative, how is 'very high traffic' defined....family of 15? Your dogs nails? Are they trimmed regualrly? Do they scratch the existing hard surfices in your home? Probably not, but.....
Do your dogs run and scamper, slipping and sliding, or are they older, more laid back?

Do yo have children? Some people actually want a vinyl floor to hold up to inline skates and/or skate boards. (I'm sure you don't expect this, but......)

These are questions only you know the answers to.

This is proving to be a good floor (I wasn't sure at first, however it appears to be good and stable)

Probably, this floor will be fine for you. Very homeowner installer friendly, thick, and durable.

If yor are installing it yourself, come back and start a new thread on how to install. there are many super guys here who can answer most anything you can through at them.

But. even with a 20 year warranty, it will probably not look new in 20 years.
