Earthscapes seaming problems?

I have a friend who installs flooring who said to stay away from this stuff because it doesn't seem well. He said he frequently has to go back to do repairs. He also said that since it doesn't seam well, there is a lot of waste in the installation.

Is it his install methods or are these things true?

I regularly tell customers that a seam properly done will not ever be a problem. seams are a fact of installation. Look at your shirt that you have on right now. It has seams. Did you notice? Are they objectionable? Can you see them?

Seams in your floor will probably be less noticeable. And will probably be bonded to each other better, and will probably last far longer than the shirt you have on right now.
Same with your car.....look at all the seams on the body of your car.
In all likelihood your floor will far outlast your car, seams or not.

Thank you for your reply. His concern was that Earthscapes tends to lift at the seams when you mop it, in a way that's different from traditional vinyl flooring. He's completely turned my husband off on the product. I'm disappointed because it looks great and the warranty is like none I've ever seen.

Was the proper double faced taped used under the seams? Where they sealed?

You may not know the answers to these questions, but I'm trying to point out that if the proper procedures are followed, there should not ba a problem.
