to glue or not to glue

i have looked at naturcor and tarkett flooring products. this flooring will be installed
in a sun porch. luan plywood will be use for the subfloor. my question is , does the floor require gluing. the sales rep for naturcor said to use glue. the tarkett sales rep
said to have it float. the room is 460 sq feet. the room is inclosed and insulated. the floor is raised three feet above grade.this is a shore area property

Re: to glue or not to glue

Well, there may be a problem first of all using luan in a moisture inviroment.
I have not installed naturcor products, but I do know that the manufature says you can only loose lay it in areas 180 sf or less.
I don't beleive that your going to be able to get any kind of warrenty under the conditions you mentioned.

I have never installed vinyl products where there is moisture, but more information is needed to make any kind of recommendation....
How is the product going to be exposed to moisture?
Is the porch inclosed? Is it raised?
My first thought is to glue it down and seal the edges to prevent moisture from getting under it.
I would think that a loose lay would cause problems since there is nothing to prevent moisture from getting under the material and just sitting there rotting the subfloor and developing mold.
