konecto sierra plank installation

I am going to be installing a konecto sierra plank floor in my basement family room.
It is a concrete sub-floor which I have patched & prepared. I have 2 questions.
First do I need some type of underlayment (vapor barrier, sound reducer etc.)? If so, what type?
Second, when ordering the transition strips, do I just order enough to do one row, or do I need enough for each row in the direction of the transition? Any other additional tips from those that have installed this product would be helpful.

No underlayment needed.

By transition strips I am assuming you mean to reverse direction. You will only need it for the one row that you are changing direction.

Acclimate, take your time, keep the joints tight and the adhesive strip clean and acclimate, and roll and acclimate.
